Theme Inspiration: Family Trees

Genealogy is a long-running hobby of mine, so I knew I wanted to incorporate our family trees into elements of our wedding. Family trees and old family photos can show up pretty much anywhere in a wedding, and they are a great way to honor those married before you.

  1. Thanks for including the spread from "Our Wedding Scrapbook". Ive illustrated another family tree that you can download as free clip-art on Marthastewart.com!

  2. I like the transition from Posted by "Clare Richardson" to "Posted by Clare Liguori" on the exact day. Way to pay attention to detail.

  3. In the United Kingdom, the term "maid of honour" originally referred to the female attendant of a queen. The term bridesmaid is normally used for all bridal attendants in the UK. However, when the attendant is married, or is a mature woman, the term matron of honour is often used. The influence of American English has led to the chief bridesmaid sometimes being called the maid of honour.
